At some point, most of us try to budget our money. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. You just end up spending money as needed and then feel retroactively bad about yourself when you compare your budgeted vs. actual spending.
The only thing that works is to pay yourself first. When you get paid, immediately set aside the money you want to save/invest/donate and then live on what remains.
If you try to fit “working on your business” into your schedule, you will fail because there’s about 1000 things that feel more urgent.
Set aside 1 hour per day, right at the beginning that is sacred. You are only allowed to work on Big Wins. You are only allowed to work “on” your business, not “in” it.
Then spend the rest of the day running your company as you normally would.
You’ll be amazed at how much difference that sacred time makes to your rate of progress.
